The course was beautiful, the staff incredibly helpful and the catering staff bent over backwards to make sure we had delicious food. We will certainly recommend you to others. On behalf of the President and all members of the Yorkshire Rabbit Golf Association may I thank you, your Captain Dean Spooner, the Club’s executive and the Club’s members for hosting our Thornton Trophy Competition on Monday 19 June and especially for the courtesy of the course. I know I can say without reservation that all who played thoroughly enjoyed the course, which from my vantage point behind the computer looked most inviting. For many it was their first time at Wath and all came in full of praise for the course if not for their golf. Therefore I wouldn’t be surprised if you have some return visitors in the future. A further number of big thanks are due and in order. First, thanks to Ian Gregory for all his help in making all the arrangements; to your greens staff for presenting such a magnificent course; and to Dawn and her catering and bar staff who kept everyone so well fed and watered throughout the day. Once again, a big thank you to all and it is always a pleasure to come to Wath where we know a warm welcome awaits.

Hi Ian, Just a quick note to say we had a top afternoon and evening. As always all the officials associated with your course where friendly and couldn't do enough for us thanks. The course was in great conditions and the greens where one of the best I have played all year both with the Society and on corporate events. Had the pleasure of playing at Wath golf club today, would just like to thank the club and say how impressed I was with the course. The greens were good and true and the whole course was presented very well. The clubhouse staff were friendly and helpful ...that also includes the Proshop staff.
